Hello hags,
After the general dumpster fire that was 2021, we took some time off to relax. But we’re venturing out this cold and dreich February to bring you all the latest on women’s health and general witchery.
This week we’re bringing you more of the content you’ve come to know and love with some blood, urine, and healthcare fails. Come on in, we’ll get the cauldron on.
We’d also like to welcome the newest member of the coven and all-round mischievous familiar, Fang.

What do women want? For doctors to listen to them
Regular readers may remember us urging you to complete a UK government survey about women’s experiences of healthcare. Now, the results are in and the overriding theme is clear: women not being listened to.
More than 4 in 5 respondents said there had been times when they were not listened to by healthcare professionals – including having symptoms dismissed, referrals denied, and treatment preferences ignored.
The results are now being used to create a Women’s Health Strategy for the UK.
Our infographic shows some key findings.
